Concerns about RTW draw large attendance at Labor History classes
This year (2013) the Labor History classes drew crowds three times larger than in previous years. Business Manager Pat Sink attributes most of this increased interest to the concern about Right-to-Work or so-called Workplace Freedom.
Classes, held on Saturdays, were for the first time open to guests as well as members. District 2 Representative Gary Siesel heads up the team of speakers, which looks at the history of unions, related legislation and current events, and how all this affects the union worker.
